In the afternoon it was quite calm on the sky. A heavy [lexicon=Cap][/lexicon] averted the release. Just isolated some cells made it to break through. With the aid of the orography the first multi-cells developed on the Erzgebirgskamm. The intensity was in the normal area, the first lightning’s came. Now the season was commenced. These multi-cells have had a very high rate of lightnings, but they weren’t as dangerous as at thunderstorms. The following pictures are from some multi-cells that have been in my country. Their updraft-towers grew very high. I estimated them at 10 kilometer.
The first cell broke through the [lexicon='Cap'][/lexicon] near Freiberg.
Afterwards it also released in my region. Two multi-cells have been in my country.
Appendages of a gust-front have been at the Outflow-Area.
Afterwards I went to Auerbach by car. I wanted to stay in the area of the updraft of this powerful multi-cell. At the same time I drove through the Outflow-Area of the first weaker cell.
When I arrived in Auerbach, I could see the beautiful updraft-tower of the strengths multi-cell over the North Country.
After the sunset dense fog rose. The ground level flow from the north brought rheumy aerial to Saxony. The following [lexicon=MCS][/lexicon] was now on the border to Saxony. On the [lexicon='Front'][/lexicon] side other very intensive cells ran high. One of the cells remained almost stationary over the country Aue-Schwarzenberg. A huge amount of rain decreased. Now a warning for the thunderstorm should have been given. Some kind of Roll cloud (named by Michel) could develop on the cold [lexicon=Front][/lexicon] of the surface low. Behind it squalls followed as well as a really high rate of lightnings. Partly a really high rate of rain was fallen down. In the space of 2h local were fallen 40 mm of rain. In the region of Schönheide were fallen 50mm, because there drew through a retrograde cell which brought a huge amount of rain before. Following are some pictures at night. I could make my first pictures of lightnings with the camera Canon EOS 400D. I caught many lightnings and I will post the most beautiful pictures.
Here is a picture which shows how awesome the fog was.
Under the [lexicon='MCS'][/lexicon] there has been very impressive and opulent Crawler.
This is my favorite picture:

Very interesting and extensive report and nice photos, Bernd. I remember this day. We had also some thunderstorms in south - east and central parts of Poland, but multicell in Saxony was the strongest thunderstorm in our region of Europe at that day.
Nawałnice, tornada w Polsce dalej zaskakują.
